Fuck insomnia

My sleep schedule is so royally fucked, it's not even funny. I went to bed at about 8AM yesterday morning, slept through all three of my alarms, and woke up at 7PM. Balls.
Been house sitting for the past month, having since returned from Italy. Apologies for the crappy quality of the Italy pictures, by the way. My camera was stolen at the Rome airport on the first day of the trip, so I was just using a little point'n'shoot that I bought a few days later.
Other than that, just writing music, playing guitar, catching up on games, etc. Got myself a Les Paul goldtop, which I've been lusting after for quite a while. Sounds fucking amazing. As much as I love my ZW, the goldtop just sounds...better. The ZW is maybe a bit better for some of the heavier stuff, but even then, the range on the goldtop is more diverse. It can do everything, from very sweet, solid, warm tones to hot, crunchy stuff on the high end. The only issue is that it has a little buzz on the low strings, but you can't hear it at really high volume, so...not an issue.
Oh, and I got a haircut, of all things.

First of all: R.I.P Andy Hallet.
Secondly, if anyone knows of places where I might be able to find  concrete walled/floored rooms, or something else that looks similarly interrogation-room-ish (no windows) in the Dallas area, I'd appreciate it.
Thirdly: I give up on girls, for now. Fuck it.

Spring break, unfortunately, is over. Been really nice just having a week to not worry about things, just kind of chill out, play lots of guitar and video games. Sam got back into town today, so we've been hanging out. Think he's gonna stay in my room for a few days. He's got a beard now, it looks pretty dandy, if I do say so myself.
SO not looking forward to going back to classes, mainly because of the number of papers I have due this week (That is to say three).
Been working on a draft of a comic for :iconemersontung:. Steampunk Samurai and whatnot, I think it'll be a good time.
